1. Workshop Engagements

Embracing Our Malachi Moment

The Embracing Our Malachi Moment workshop is designed for both discovery of and developing a strategic response to the specific ways God has called a group of believers to advance the kingdom in their locale. Leveraging the teachings of the book and the personal journey promoted by the Malachi Moment Reflection Guide, this experience moves people form having individual insights to forming God-ordained connections to enable action, mutual “up-countability” and set measurable goals. It will specifically enable cross-generational partnerships and linkage between those who are positioned on the front lines (out in society) and those in traditional ministry roles of intercession, pastoral care and so on who support them.

Overall Purpose: Enable groups to move from collection of individuals with personal insights into what God is doing through them in this “Malachi Moment” of history to an energized, connected and aligned community with shared understanding of what they are called to do together.

A typical engagement will begin with pre-workshop engagement with the material through the Malachi Moment and the Reflection guide by participants, with video meeting with the Workshop leaders to assure preparation for a successful event is in place

Structure and length are flexible and depend on the goals of the hosting organization. In larger (multi-church Marketplace Ministry settings, for example) a facilitator training session can be added to enhance application effectiveness.

A Typical Three Session Malachi Moment Workshop

Session 1 – Fri. Evening

Overall objectives include achieving a common language about the Kingdom of Heaven and a shared understanding of the group-specific areas of focus. Connecting across pastoral-laity lines as well as across generations on shared missions.

Session 2 – Sat. Morning

Overall objectives include deepening shared understanding of each other’s journeys and how these individual calling concentrations inform the group about its collective path forward, both directionally and in terms of partnering.

Session 3 – Sat. Afternoon

Overall objectives include defining key points of group focus and building mission-based multi-generational “tribes”, engaging the pastoral and other 5-fold support system of the region with each, and setting in motion the next steps.

This is an intensive and rewarding, life-changing event and is designed to serve the needs of groups who are determined to raise the Kingdom impact they are having collectively in their communities and their spheres of influence.

2. Small Group Engagements

The Malachi Moment Discussion Guide

This discussion guide is written primarily for groups who have chosen to explore these truths together and to press into whatever heaven has assigned to them individually and collectively. Each section aims to enable deeper insights into the implications for you and your community from the corresponding chapter of the book by suggesting ways you can unpack it’s key concepts.

My first goal is that through your reflections and mutual encouragement, you will be able to move from contemplation into action. And secondly that you move into action, I hope that your journey together will have enable you to better support each other with what David instructed Solomon to pursue as if it were hidden treasure – wisdom and understanding

3. Speaking Engagements

Speaking engagements of a variety of types and lengths are welcomed, with a focus on unpacking key insights from the book, the Malachi Moment. Formats that enable questions to be asked and discussed are prioritized. Dr. Leman’s goal is empowering individuals as well as groups to begin a journey of reframing their callings and Christs commissioning to more fully advance the Kingdom of Heaven in their assigned spaces.
